Connect VaultXL to your assistant

Ask your assistant what an item is and what it might resell for, where to sell it, and for a listing draft. Then say “save it to the Henderson estate project” and it lands in your VaultXL inventory. Values are estimates from current asking prices, not sold prices.

What you are allowing

items:read: Let the assistant identify items, estimate value, suggest where to sell, write listing drafts and look things up in your inventory.
items:write: Let the assistant save items and projects, attach photos you uploaded, and draft proposals, but only when you ask it to.

Only team members can connect. The assistant acts as you, inside your own VaultXL organisation, and can’t see anyone else’s inventory.

Privacy

Photos and the text you give the assistant are sent to VaultXL to answer that request. VaultXL passes the photos and your description to its AI model provider (Anthropic) to identify the item, and, when you ask for web price comparisons, the item description (not your photos) to a web search service. VaultXL keeps them in memory and does not store them unless you save an item.
Photos you add from your phone are held in private storage for up to 30 minutes, or until you save them to an item or delete them. The upload link works only for that one batch of photos.
VaultXL logs which tool ran and how long it took. It does not log your photos, image links, descriptions or access tokens.
Access tokens expire on their own. To disconnect, remove the connector in your assistant’s settings; to cut off access immediately, contact support.
