Modern office furniture, the workstations and task chairs, has a well-run resale trade of its own, and a used office furniture dealer is the right call for it. We leave that to them. What we sell is what they undervalue: a mahogany partner desk, a boardroom table that seats twenty, a set of leather club chairs, a member-donated grandfather clock, the portraits and sporting prints from the lounge.
Renovating a clubhouse is as much the members' decision as the manager's. Some pieces were gifts or memorials, and some members will want first refusal. We can hold a members-only preview before anything is listed publicly, record in writing which pieces are not for sale, and keep the club's name out of listings unless the board agrees.
A closing bank branch can hold more history than people expect: brass teller grilles, marble check desks, wall clocks, old safes and signage. Vault doors and built-in fittings are usually part of the building, so ownership and removal have to be settled with the landlord first. We will tell you which of them are worth the cost of taking out.
When a firm moves, the deadline is the lease end. We catalogue in the weeks before, list pieces while staff still work around them, and book pickups after hours or at weekends if the building requires it. Every drawer is checked before anything is photographed, and any papers left inside go straight back to you, unread.
We work across North Carolina from Charlotte: the Charlotte region, the Triangle, the Triad and Asheville, and the rest of the state by arrangement.

Why VaultXL.
We leave the workstations alone
Cubicles and task chairs belong with an office furniture dealer. We take the pieces that sell for far more on their own.
Members first, if you want
A club can offer pieces to its members before the public sees them, with the board's list of what is not for sale kept in writing.
Discreet by default
No firm, club or member names in listings unless agreed. Drawers are emptied and papers returned before a single photograph.
Built for lease and renovation dates
We work back from move-out or the start of construction and tell you early what can realistically sell before then.

Frequently asked.
It depends on the maker, wood, size, condition and whether it can be moved without dismantling. Large boardroom tables have fewer buyers simply because fewer rooms can take them. We price against completed sales of comparable pieces and tell you at the walkthrough which are worth listing.
Yes. We can run a members-only preview for a set period, then list whatever is left. Pieces the board wants kept or given to a member are recorded in writing and never listed.
Every drawer and cabinet is checked before anything is photographed. Papers, keys and personal items go back to you, unread, and nothing with papers in it is listed.
Not ourselves. They are usually part of the building, so ownership has to be agreed with the landlord and removal needs a specialist contractor. We will tell you which are worth that cost before anyone commits to it.
Yes. Office buildings and clubs often restrict loading to evenings or weekends, so pickups are booked into whatever windows the building allows, and only after the buyer has paid.

Every project is quoted in writing after a free walkthrough: a non-refundable setup fee set in your quote, and 15% of what sells after marketplace fees. The club, firm or bank keeps 85%.
