Most of a liquidation happens online now. Buyers find pieces on our shop, Facebook Marketplace, eBay and specialist channels, and they collect from your premises. That is what lets us run a sale well away from Charlotte: we come for the walkthrough and the photography, run the listings and the buyers from our office, and come back for the pickup days.
Every project starts with a free walkthrough, in person or by video for a first look. We tell you what will sell, what should go as a lot, and what belongs with a dealer, a donation or a haul. You get a written quote before any work starts, with travel included in it.
If you own the business but do not live near it, you do not need to be there. Give us access through the landlord or a manager, and you see photographs, every sale and what you are owed in your client portal. Anything leased, financed or pledged to a lender is listed only once that lender agrees, and a business in bankruptcy or receivership is handled only with the trustee's or receiver's approval.
The Carolina cities we cover.
In North Carolina: Charlotte and the region around it, the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Cary and Chapel Hill), the Triad (Greensboro, Winston-Salem and High Point), Fayetteville, Wilmington and Asheville.
In South Carolina: Rock Hill and Fort Mill next door to Charlotte, Columbia, Greenville and Spartanburg, and Charleston with North Charleston, Mount Pleasant and Summerville. Myrtle Beach and the rest of both states by arrangement.
For a business in Charlotte itself, our Charlotte business liquidation page covers the local detail.
Several locations at once.
Chains and multi-site businesses closing more than one location get one sales manager and one record across all of them. We sequence the sites by lease date, sell matching fixtures from several stores as larger lots where that brings more, and report each site separately so your accountant can close each one out.

Why VaultXL.
One sales manager, two states
The same person runs your sale whether the store is in Raleigh, Columbia or Charleston, and across several stores at once.
You do not need to be there
Owners who have already moved on give us access, and follow every sale and payout in the client portal.
Built around your deadlines
Each location is planned back from its own lease end, and we tell you early what can realistically sell before then.
Honest about what to skip
Where a dealer, donation or haul is the better answer, we say so at the walkthrough rather than list it to look busy.

Pickups are grouped into scheduled days at your premises, with one of us there. Nothing leaves until the buyer has paid.
Yes. We sequence the sites by lease date, sell matching fixtures across stores as larger lots where that brings more, and keep a separate sale record for each location.
It is not yours to sell until the leasing company or lender agrees. We ask about it at the walkthrough and list only what you own outright.
No. We sell the contents. For the lease, the property or the business as a going concern, you want a commercial real estate agent or a business broker.
Every project is quoted in writing after a free walkthrough: a non-refundable setup fee set in your quote, and 15% of what sells after marketplace fees. The business keeps 85%.
