A free in-home walkthrough puts a specialist in your house to catalogue what you actually want gone. From there VaultXL photographs it, researches what comparable pieces have sold for, lists it on the channel that pays most for that category, answers every buyer, handles shipping or pickup, and sends an itemised statement for each piece that sells. You keep 85% on standard managed resale, after marketplace fees.

No. This service exists precisely for people who are staying put. If you own things worth selling and will never get round to selling them, that is the entire qualification.

A specialist comes to your home and catalogues what you want to sell — identifying pieces, flagging what is genuinely worth listing, and telling you plainly what is not worth the effort. The walkthrough itself is free. The non-refundable setup fee for cataloguing and photography is set out in your written quote, not charged on the spot.

85% of the net sale price on standard managed resale — what the buyer paid, less sales tax and marketplace fees; VaultXL retains 15%. Bulk or dealer lots are handled at a different rate and are always agreed in writing first. No commission is charged on items that do not sell; the setup fee in your written quote is separate.

We list items with real individual resale value on their own. Lower-value things can be sold in curated lots rather than one at a time, and we will tell you when that is the honest recommendation.

Pre-Sale Home Prep is about the property — emptying a house to a deadline so it can be listed. This is about the contents — you are keeping the house and just want the things in it sold.
