Why Shopify is different

Shopify's product importer is genuinely good — if you can produce a correctly-shaped CSV. That's the catch. The Handle column has to be unique and URL-safe, the variant rows have to be structured just so, and Body (HTML) has to be real HTML, not plain text. Hand-building that spreadsheet for a large catalog is the work. We hand it to you finished.

The Handle column trips up every hand-built import

Shopify keys products on a unique, URL-safe Handle. Duplicates silently merge products; spaces and symbols break the import. We generate a clean unique handle per item so nothing collapses.

Variants are multi-row, not multi-column

A product with options spans several CSV rows that share a handle, with Option1/Option2 names and values lined up correctly. Get the row structure wrong and Shopify rejects the file. We build the variant rows to spec.

Body (HTML) has to be HTML

Shopify renders the description column as HTML. Pasting plain text loses your formatting; pasting the wrong markup breaks the page. We deliver clean, structured HTML descriptions.

Type and Tags drive your storefront collections

Automated collections and storefront filtering key off Product Type and Tags. Leave them blank and your catalog is unbrowsable. We populate both from each item's real attributes.
