Shopify makes products from participating stores available to AI shopping assistants, including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, through its product catalog. VaultXL's store takes part, so the pieces listed for you can be suggested when a shopper describes what they want.
Assistants answer from product data, not from photos alone. A piece is recommended when its listing clearly states what it is, who made it, its size, material, condition and price. That is how we already write every listing, so the same work that sells on our shop helps here.
This is a new way to shop and it is still settling. We don't promise that an assistant will recommend a particular piece. What we can do is make every listing clear enough that, when it is a good match, an assistant can say so.
The buyer still completes the purchase through our store. Furniture is collected locally or delivered around Charlotte, smaller pieces ship, and once a piece sells it comes down everywhere.
